Essential tool which helped OldMapsOnline.org and TimeMap.org developers to develop fast the stable backend tightly coupled with frontend.

Figma has helped TimeMap / OldMapsOnline.org designers and creators hugely. It is an amazing tool used for prototyping the user interfaces, graphical design of the MUI components as well as drafting animation and testing the whole UX interaction on wireframes, before coding.

OldMapsOnline makes full use of MapTiler's JavaScript SDK and all the historical data were processed with MapTiler Engine and data pipelines. Millions of records with detailed filters appear fast on the interactive map, which is smooth and responsive. Old maps appears on 3D terrain and even in Augmented Reality on Meta Oculus and Apple Vision Pro devices (!) - all with minimal effort on the side of OMO - thanks to prepared and documented TypeScript SDKs from MapTiler. This project would not be possible without MapTiler platform!
