Do You Really Need a Co-founder?

Most startup advice says: don t go solo.

It s practically gospel, especially if you want to raise money.

But I ve met plenty of founders who started solo and stayed that way. Some thrived. Some flamed out. Some figured out how to build a support system around them without giving away half the company.

What is the best Vibe Coding tool so far? Bonus points if we've never heard of it!

I might be missing some but I've been pretty much in love with @Lovable, @Cursor, @bolt.new and have been trying to use @Replit more and I honestly haven't touched @BASE44 too much but have heard good things. @chrismessina has nudged me to use @Windsurf for whenever I build another Raycast Extension!
Currently I use:
- @bolt.new / @Lovable
- @Cursor
- @Warp
Curious what everyone thinks is the top one so far!

Do you think Product Hunt should verify domain ownership for submitted products? 😄

Product Hunt is great for discovery , but sometimes there are concerns about authenticity and trust when products are submitted by people not affiliated with them.

Would verifying domain ownership (e.g., via email or DNS) help ensure that only legitimate makers or teams can submit a product? Or would it add too much friction to the launch process?

Do you launch on other platforms too? For example, Kickstarter or IndieGogo

Possible platforms where you can launch have been discussed here several times.

Of course, it brings benefits for SEO (backlinks), visibility (more content, awareness),...

How do you keep momentum after launch day?

Hey PH community!

I m in the middle of prepping my first launch here, and while I m learning a lot about launch day itself, I keep thinking about what happens next.

Are you a marketer or solo founder feeling overwhelmed by marketing tools?

In 2025, being a marketer feels like being a full-stack SaaS team, minus the team. You re writing emails in the morning, editing video demos by lunch, tweaking automation flows in the afternoon, and debugging a landing page at midnight because growth doesn t sleep. And apparently, neither should we.

We told AI to make our jobs easier.

AI replied: Cool now you do everything. Alone. But faster.

Here s my daily juggling act:

Everyone’s building with AI but is anyone actually using it daily?

Feels like every other product launch now has some kind of AI baked in summarizing, generating, guessing what we want before we want it. I m building with it too, and it s impressive but I keep wondering how often users really come back for it. So here s the question: Are you actually using AI features in the tools you rely on daily? Or do they feel more like a cool extra than a core habit? Even better: Have you seen a product where the AI feels like it belongs like it s genuinely useful and not just a checkbox? Curious what s really sticking and what s just surface-level hype.

$5K on Ads or Just DM People? What Actually Works for PH Launches?

Hey PH community! In two weeks, I m launching my app, SUN, here on Product Hunt. It s been a journey, and I m now focused on how to get meaningful visibility and upvotes. I ve been digging into what others have done and came across these 5 common strategies:

  1. DM outreach on LinkedIn

  2. Joining Product Hunt-focused WhatsApp groups

  3. Engaging in Facebook groups for PH launches

  4. Running social media ads that link directly to the PH page

  5. Buying Product Hunt ads (starting at $5,000 )

Has anyone here tried any of these?

What worked? What felt like a waste of time or money?

🚀 Big milestone: 200K+ lines of code scanned with LetMeCheck.ai!

Thank you to all the early adopters and brave builders who trusted us with your code.

We believe the best way to build is in public, with feedback at every step. Many of you shared that our AI code analysis isn t deep enough yet and we agree.

If you could automate one annoying part of your workflow, what would it be?

We ve all got that one thing we still do manually that makes us groan every time - formatting copied text, renaming files, setting up tasks, writing the same message again and again. If you could wave a magic AI wand and automate just one repetitive thing, what would it be? Bonus if you ve actually hacked a solution for it, I love learning from clever automations. Also: I m working on something in this space, so I m not just asking for fun Following anyone who shares something cool or teaches me something new.

Hunters who are visible and active on Product Hunt – Short List

I usually get a few messages from makers during the week asking if I could hunt them.

Short answer: I don't currently hunt (but maybe in the future)
