Definitely would suggest to stay away form these both models, if there is a very clear roadmap pictured by your startup. More often that not these programs are designed to drive your startup into their ecosystem, that might be very difficult at times. If you are capable of envisioning your product and roadmap (again) you should be looking at pre-seed/seed or may be an early VC

Trust me I've always dwelled in a subconscious achievement of the Idea being implemented, while actually I was talking it over with few people around. It's better to start implementing rather than talking about.
