From Trickle.so to HappyCapy. we're rethinking what a "computer" means in the age of AI agents
Hey everyone,
Quick background: we're the team behind Trickle.so, where we help people build apps and websites with AI. We've been deep in the AI tooling space for a while now, and something kept bugging us.
The layoff wave and how we can move past the fear
Many people have told me that being part of Gen Z comes with advantages we have time, energy, and plenty of opportunities to shape our careers in the AI era. And I do feel lucky to have grown up with technology, to have had early exposure and opportunities to learn and explore it.
But the AI era feels different. The shift is not only new, it s happening at lightning speed. Before I ve even fully adapted to working with AI, we re already seeing waves of layoffs where human roles are being replaced or reshaped by AI systems. And honestly, that creates uncertainty and anxiety not just for me, but for many people around us.
Build AI apps with our new tool: Subterranean
Hey builders!
It was amazing collaborating last year and exploring AI tools for work productivity through our launch of the Portals platform. Through that experience, we talked to power users and experimented with the latest technology for AI agents, tool calling, and RAG and vector databases.
Based on those learnings, we've been working hard to build the next rendition of a powerful agent. Many users are looking for solutions to build and manage their technical products and digital businesses, and no-code tools and vibe coding are the biggest trends in the AI scene right now.
Today we're launching Subterranean, an AI no-code platform for building complete apps focused on reliability, design, and a network of built-in systems to make every part of product development capable of being outsourced to agents.
