Hi all, I'm Josh. In 2006, a friend of mine was traveling the world with no good access to news. So I created SimplyHeadlines, an RSS + widgets once-a-day email newspaper basically for the two of us. Someone at CNET and the Houston Chronicle found it, and it blew up. And everyone asked, WTF!? My favorite was the 2006 TechCrunch headline - "SimplyHeadlines Is About Five Years Too Late." They...

SimplyHeadlines, the daily email newsletter that TechCrunch called "Five Years Too Late" in 2006, is back: the once-a-day email newspaper you control. Pick your RSS feeds, add fun widgets (weather, stocks, joke of the day, Trump-eraseer, etc.), and get a clean “top headlines only” digest—now with a sprinkle of AI for feed discovery and quick summaries. Will everyone want this? Hell no. Might you? Who knows? Is it now 25 years too late? Only you can decide.

This solves a definite need. Maybe I'm missing something but how does this work with existing IDE / coding workflows that are using Cursor or Claude? Can I just run this in a window next to Cursor and as Cursor does something it will pick up on it or do I need to commit the changes first to get this to work, at which point it's too late? Thanks for the insight.
