Decipad
Decipad is like Excel, but fun! No small feat—Excel can be pretty darn fun once you get the hang of it—but Decipad let's me skip right to intuitively making connections between my numbers and the story I'm trying to grog with those numbers.

MacWhisper
I love MacWhisper for its simplicity since launch, and for the selection of features that get added at a rapid pace. I've used the app for both English and Danish translations of audio, and the results are mindblowing.

Polywork
Polywork is wonderful as a place to showcase your _work_, not just your work, through an inclusive, varied set of update posts to your wall making it your story instead of just another online resumé.

Arc
Arc took ~4 seconds to win me over when I launched it for the first time July last year. I made it my default browser in August. I couldn't tell you the last time I had Chrome open. Arc is not just a little bit better than other browsers, it feels like it belongs in the MoMa. My single piece of advice for Arc: Very soon after you download and launch it you'll find yourself staring right at the 'auto-close inactive tabs' setting in preferences, and its 'after 24 hours' default trigger a slight anxiety in you. Your intuition will be to make it longer—Don't! Just, give it two weeks, I promise, it'll click.
