🔓 Why did we open-source our WhatsApp & Signal capture libraries? Because in RegTech, "trust us" isn’t a security model. Most vendors hide their capture logic - right up until an audit or breach exposes the cracks. We built this because we were tired of vague promises, especially after breaches like TeleMessage in May 2025. We believe that transparency should be the default in the compliance...

Interesting! I use templates that I save in Gmail - but I'm curious if you've considered syncing with CRMs, etc so that the templates would pull in information from them? (Or Google Calendar even, for upcoming event reminders, etc, that could be auto-filled into the email.) I know this is a long shot - but syncing with something like Otter would be huge since I often will follow up with someone...

The biggest thing I wish I had known ~10 years ago was to find some way to take time away. Burn out is so real. Scheduling a "decompress for two hours on a Thursday night" doesn't work if at 2 hours and one minute you're running back to work on something. Now, instead of waiting until the evening to decompress, I do it in the middle of the day - even if it's just sitting outside with the dog...

Open Source in RegTech: We're Finally Doing It. Want to use our repos? We'd love feedback.
Hey everyone! 👋 I'm Jeremiah Church, compliance nerd and founder of Comma Compliance, and after ~20 years of working in compliance/tech, I am tired of pretending that Compliance is more secure by being hidden in obscurity. It doesn't. It's just risky. So, while we initially built out Comma behind closed doors, we're opening them now as we grow. We're open-sourcing the core of our compliance...

Interesting! Looked it over since getting rid of unnecessary subscriptions is something we're focusing on. When it comes to the Semrush alternative, does Allforms have the option of running technical audits/backlink analysis? That's a big reason we haven't gotten rid of Semrush. We recently got rid of Notion since it's just absurdly expensive and switched to using shortcut for more than just...

This is really smart. I cannot tell you how many GitHub stars I’ve meant to keep an eye on but just… didn’t. (plus open source = automatic extra points from my perspective.:) )

This looks super clean - love that it’s something folks outside the dev team can actually use w/out a bunch of handholding. Ten-ish years ago, creating an onboarding wizard was literally days of dev work. We’re spinning up a new product right now & we've been going back and forth with "do we use intercom" (which is p limited and clunky) or "do we build out a step-by-step?" Adding guidey to the...
