What's the weirdest thing you've asked AI to do? Examples welcome 🤖

I've recently gotten into training grip strength and since it s a new area of strength training for me, I ve been asking Claude a lot of weird questions about training and recovery techniques. So now, my chat history is a ton of stuff about work with the occasional odd question about how often I should be using extensor bands haha

What are some of the strangest things you've asked AI to help with? Did it actually help?

How do you handle pricing strategies and discounts?

When I was studying economics, we always said that we base the price on these basic things:

cost level

competition

prominence of the industry/product

Is it really good to succeed at a young age?

I often met people with the mindset:

"I'll work hard until I'm 30, and then I'll enjoy the fruits of my labour."

Many people wanted to get into the Forbes 30 Under 30.

What was the very first project you vibecoded with AI?

On Product Hunt, I can see many people launching their products using "vibe-coding tools" like @Lovable , @bolt.new , or@Replit

I reckon many people who created something with them are usually developers who didn't have enough time for building a side idea before, but with AI, they could make it happen.

How successful were you when you used influencer marketing for promoting your business or product?

A few minutes ago, I read an overview of a report that more people take a source of news, not traditional outlets and media, but influencers. [I am attaching the screenshot from Reutersinstitute.]

TL;DR:

FB, YT, IG  More attention is dedicated to news media/journalists

Lessons from finishing #1 on a day two products passed 1,000 upvotes - for the first time in 2025

First, thank you. Everyone who voted, commented, or tried Chronicle. You helped us with a #1 finish in our first official launch on the same day Bubble also crossed 1000 votes. Massive gratitude

As a first-time founder, this was a special day. I would love to share what we've learnt. And would love to hear how we can do better, both in growing Chronicle and in improving the product itself.

Hunters who are visible and active on Product Hunt – Short List

I usually get a few messages from makers during the week asking if I could hunt them.

Short answer: I don't currently hunt (but maybe in the future)

What's your wildest 'things that don't scale' move that actually worked?

Not looking for the usual "DM people on LinkedIn" or "personalized cold emails"

I want the weird stuff you tried that had insane results.

I'll start: We sent 50 pizzas with custom packaging to super specific people in our target persona.

Result: 95% called us back and hopped on a call.

Remote workers, how do you stay productive while being isolated?

The biggest boom in remote work was during the COVID pandemic, but corporations have started to call employees back into their offices, either because of prepaid office space or better control over employees' work.

Some have stuck with the remote model until now, e.g. Spotify.

What's the biggest problem you face when A/B testing your funnel?

A/B testing is supposed to systematically isolate winning and losing acquisition funnel content.

My biggest struggle, by FAR, is understanding why people bounce from my landing page after clicking through my ad.

How do you avoid feature bloat while embracing community feedback?

Community-driven product development is a huge advantage hearing directly from your users fuels better ideas and stronger loyalty. But it also comes with a classic challenge: feature bloat.

How do you decide which user requests to say yes to, and which to decline without alienating your audience? How do you keep your product vision focused and sharp when the feedback pulls in so many directions?

I d love to hear your strategies for balancing user-driven growth with staying true to your core mission. What frameworks or decision-making processes have worked for you?

Let s share best practices on how to build with community input without losing product clarity.

Tips for effectively using Projects?

I really like Claude, and I use it nearly daily. I feel like I'm probably missing out on taking full advantage of it though, because I've never used Projects.

Any tips for using it effectively? Is it better to keep the Projects very niche? Or does it work alright with general/ongoing work?

What's the one thing you hate doing as a founder/builder (but still have to)?

What s that one task you always end up doing but really wish you didn t have to?

For me, it s the scrappy stuff like cold outreach or chasing feedback (and getting no reply). It's essential, but always pulls me away from deeper work.

What about you?

What's your annoying-but-necessary task.

Google Annual I/O conference 2025 and updates you can't miss

Google released a lot of updates at its annual I/O conference.

One of them, which has been a success, is 3D video conferencing (it reminds me a bit of the era when 3D movies were a big boom in 2009). So I assume that we may soon see 4D and 5D experiences.
