I built @PassGen to offer a desktop-first, privacy-focused alternative that also serves developers. In addition to standard password management, it includes API key and secret generation/storage, making it practical for managing developer credentials alongside personal passwords—without subscriptions, heavy cloud dependency, or unnecessary complexity.

I built my apps with @Lovable and@Vercel at the start, then when I saw the price was a costly monthly subscription as a freelancer, I decided to move to a Desktop app@Dyad All I had to do was get my API from Google Studio or Gemini and add it to the Dyad app, it's prefect, I would recommended it.
