How do you test your product before launch?
I recently came across what the majority calls "vibe coding" and I am addicted. As I am a marketing guy, I couldn't resist in creating not one, not two, but 8 apps, which are basically systems to solve my own problems and frustrations.
However, I couldn't help but notice that all these tools are far from perfect. Lovable, Replit (which I use extensively now) say they did something, but in reality, they made only the surface.
Cursor: AI Code Editor – A Real VS Code Alternative?
Been checking out Cursor, an AI code editor that deeply integrates AI into your workflow. Think natural language coding, smart predictions, and asking your codebase questions.
It's trying to push AI further than, say, VS Code (even with Copilot).
I'm curious:
How has Cursor's AI experience been for you compared to your current setup?
Cursor or Claude Code?
I love @Cursor. It's enabled me to build (vibe code) so many web apps, sites, extensions, and little things quickly that 1. bring me joy and 2. help me with work or realize personal projects.
However... I'm seeing a TON of movement around @Claude by Anthropic's Claude Code. I haven't personally tried it but it's apparently insane (and can also be expensive?)
I'm curious. Should I switch? What are you currently using? Or do they both have their own use case. I right now like cursor because I can build directly in a GitHub repo or locally and it helps me learn my way around an IDE.
Looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts!

Is it really good to succeed at a young age?
I often met people with the mindset:
"I'll work hard until I'm 30, and then I'll enjoy the fruits of my labour."
Many people wanted to get into the Forbes 30 Under 30.
We need your opinion 🤩
We ve put a lot of work into our UI to give you a great time-blocking experience. Unlike most calendar apps, time-blocking tools are meant to be filled up for the day, leaving very little white space. That extra colour density can feel overwhelming! Try filling a whole day in Google Calendar s day view with coloured events and you ll see what I mean.
We really value your feedback, so before we tweak the UI we want to make the right choice. Below you ll find our original task colours alongside a new option we re considering. Cast your vote for your favourite, and we ll take it on board.
If you have a feature idea or any other suggestion, just email us at support@chunkapp.net.
Why are you NOT using Raycast?
About 4 months ago, I asked for beginner tips on Raycast so that I could start trying it out. I'd heard some people talk about how helpful it was, but just downloading it, I didn't really know where to start or how to get the most out of it.
Well, 4 months later, it is an integral part of my workflow now. I'd actually say it's one of the most impactful apps I use (the other being @Aqua Voice) in terms of really improving my overall work. I use it now for so many things every day, and I've gotten it set up to be incredibly fast and efficient for what I need. I think I would feel very slow and disorganized going back to not using it.
Have you ever pivoted your business / idea? 💡
Tons of great products that we know and use everyday are the result of pivots. You know, sometimes the original idea just isn't working and you have to find a new niche and quick, other times you stumble on a use case that changes the whole game.
Have you ever pivoted? What's the story behind it? How successful was the pivot? I'd love to hear your stories, and potentially feature them in our newsletters!

What can you expect from Apple in 2025?
Apple is hosting its 2025 Worldwide Developers Conference starting Monday (You can watch live here), and there are rumours about what people can expect.
I read the TechCrunch article, and some hints are:
Activity widgets are here!
Hey everyone, it's been a while!
We've just released iglu 1.11, with brand-new widgets for your Home Screen! The activity widgets are a great way for you to see your recent writing activity on iglu, not to mention the beautiful 'heat map' design (shoutout to @GitHub). The widget is available in small and medium.
I Finally Fixed ChatGPT Image Ratio with Stable Diffusion Outpainting
One thing that kept bugging me:
ChatGPT s image-1 model doesn t support common aspect ratios like 16:9 or 9:16, which is kind of a problem when you re making YouTube thumbnails or Shorts.
Thoughts on the new product/hub redesign?
Product Hunt has launched a significant reconfiguration of the product hub embedding launches within a company's or hub's frame:

Remote workers, how do you stay productive while being isolated?
The biggest boom in remote work was during the COVID pandemic, but corporations have started to call employees back into their offices, either because of prepaid office space or better control over employees' work.
Some have stuck with the remote model until now, e.g. Spotify.
Quick question for SaaS founders: How do you figure out why trial users don't convert?
I'm talking to founders who struggle with trial-to-paid conversion. Most of the ones I've chatted with say the same thing:
"We get signups, but users go quiet after a few days. We have no idea what went wrong until they're already gone."
Who is building/using agents for Linear?
Linear for Agents is now GA. Who is building or using an agent for Linear?
We recently built one for using Bucket feature flags within Linear (and shared some of our lessons learned). Would love to hear from others building or using agents. We're just getting started with our Linear integration and are keen to get feedback. We've plans to add:
Feedback/adoption result summaries to the agent
Support for an access summary embed whenever a link to a feature on Bucket is dropped
Plus, integrate our feedback function with Linear's customer requests - making it possible to capture customer requests directly from within your application
Do you trust AI more than humans?
I noticed an interesting pattern in my surroundings:
People are very sensitive about their data (GDPR, etc.)
But the same people are willing to share their health, partner problems, intimate relationships, etc., with LLM.
Chat GPT becomes a therapist.
Best Clipboard Manager for Mac?
@Paste just launched their latest version, and tbh I'm considering switching over but I'm curious to hear what other people use?
I know @Raycast has a pretty powerful and integrated one that I'm considering using. I currently use @ Pasta which I love.
Do folks have any they recommend? What's the consensus?
