Both Fazier and Uneed are offering lifetime deals for Black Friday. If you are planning to launch a lot of products, it can be a good deal. For context, Fazier and Uneed are two emerging alternatives to Product Hunt, where you need to pay a small fee to submit a product (that is how they approach the product launches overload).
Lately, my DMs have been full of this question. While I can t say exactly what changed after Product Hunt s Aug 25 update (since the featured criteria seem a bit mysterious now), here are a few patterns I ve noticed:
Version updates: New versions or re-launches (like Product v2.0) often don t get featured anymore.
No freemium or free trial : Launches without a free plan or trial seem to be struggling to get featured.
Hunter Featured : Having a well-known hunter doesn t guarantee a feature. In fact, recently, the two seem almost mutually exclusive.
Look & feel: Launches that use the same template design or layout as others often get skipped.
Curious to hear your thoughts - have you noticed similar trends?
Recent events made me think about how technology is shaping our relationships.
We re online more, we even use AI as a relationship advisor, and at the same time, it feels like it s harder for younger people to approach someone in real life.

Is it truly vibe coding if there aren't tunes making the vibes...well...vibey. Thought it'd be fun to put together a YouTube playlist of what everyone listens to when building! I'll take all the links and make a playlist on YouTube after a couple of days :) Just drop the link and tag the tool that you mostly use. I'll start! I vibe with Black Coffee and mostly use @Cursor!

Weird domain names are the unsung heroes of the internet. I used to own pollinate dot me. Basically I was drunk and thought a dating app based on people that liked to garden was a good idea
Hi everyone, Gabe here! I lead curating Product Hunt's leaderboard.
First thing I will say is that if I could feature every single product that works, I would. I love supporting makers and demoing products. I actually try to test every single thing that gets hunted every day... which is A TON. But I view our job as to surface the most interesting, novel, useful, and innovative products - daily. Now we may not always get it right, the process isn't perfect, but we're trying to do right by the community.

I've been closely observing Product Hunt launches, and I noticed something intriguing many featured apps receive 50+ upvotes almost instantly within the first 5 minutes of going live. This raises a few questions: - Is Product Hunt giving a visibility boost or bonus upvotes to featured apps?
- Do featured apps automatically get shown to a larger audience right away, leading to more immediate engagement?
- Is there some algorithm at play that helps them gain traction faster compared to non-featured apps?
- Are these early upvotes purely from their own pre-planned community engagement (like newsletters, social media, etc.), or is there another factor involved? I m really curious about how this works. If anyone has insights or has experienced this firsthand, I d love to understand the reasoning behind it!
Hey PH community We re growing our affiliate program and looking to connect with partners who genuinely engage and drive conversions for our community platform. While we ve had dozens of sign-ups and a few active promoters, turning more of them into consistent advocates is the real challenge. For those of you who ve built successful affiliate programs what s worked best? How do you find and nurture partners who stay invested rather than just signing up and disappearing? Would love to hear your insights!
I'll start with one. Hopefully we can build a collection of actionable tips that we could start doing TODAY. So, no theoretical discussions e.g. whether going for a walk is a good thing. Also, please provide a reason for your tip. So, here's mine that I've started doing At the end of the working hours - Pack your laptop in your backpack. Don't just close the lid. Unplug any dongle, cable, everything. Next morning setup everything for your work. This way you'll prevent yourself from that urge known as "just check this tiny little thing that will eat 2 more hours of my free time". No matter if you are at the same desk in your home for every day, just start doing this. If it seems like too much remember that in pre-corona times you were doing the same things. Plus commuting. Reason for this tip is that in consecutive wfh you may lose the sense when are you working and when you're not. So you can switch to a 16h+ working hours which is not good. You'll burn out. You're also "stealing" time from your family (if you live with someone).
