Besides making sure your discussion follows the community guidelines, you can approach Product Hunt discussions more strategically and use them to increase your visibility for your personal brand and your product.

A lot of people struggle with their discussions being rejected.
This usually happens to accounts that don t have much interaction history yet.

If I wanted to become more active in Product Hunt discussions, I would try the following:

I am a Software Engineer by profession and curiosity! I like to tinker things over weekends and while travelling across countries! I have built products in the personal finance space and screen productivity space looking to launch soon on PH. I am new to the community and PH and would love to start by contributing! Hit me up with what you are building, I would to try it out, give feedback and buy it if works for me! Or we could just chat about tech, travel or film making!

For me, I feel like the hardest part isn't choosing between tools like React, Firebase, Railway, etc, it's really deciding which parts of the stack I should commit most of my time and tokens early and which ones may become painful to replace later.

Do you stick with a familiar stack and avoid overthinking it, design around expected scale from day one, let your coding agent influence the architecture, or start with the cheapest setup and migrate later? Also, curious which early technical choice has saved you the most time, and which one you wish you probably shouldn't have overthinked on.
