The shift YoY is insane! I feel like sharing with AI removes a layer of judgement or embarrassment for people. Saying something to another human can certainly cause someone to hold back or even alter what they would say, but saying it to a 'not real' thing in the computer is much easier. Also, AI can be manipulated to say what you want to hear, so it's probably comforting to many to just talk...

Definitely sped up a lot of things. I used to spend FOREVER trying to just make social content that honestly, didn't do a lot to drive the business. As a marketer, I know having a social presence is important, it just doesn't have the RIO for us. Having AI helps me create multiple content pieces from thing though, which has been awesome! Another, more specific thing it does, is help my content...

Hey there Product Hunt! On behalf of the Headliner Team, I am proud to announce our latest and greatest tool. Introducing 🥁🥁🥁 TL;DL (Beta) by Headliner. We built TL;DL by Headliner for people who love podcasts—but don’t always have time to listen. Hence the name! With TL;DL, you choose the shows you want to hear and set how much time you have. From there, TL;DL will get to work using our...

Sadly, I think it is part of a larger societal shift. We are being trained for instant gratification and to bet on the 'known' outcome. So many things can now be offloaded and streamlined by AI, so I think people get cold feet pretty easily if it looks like too much work. I would expect this to change down the line as AI becomes more stable/plateaus.

I have not played around with them too much. We use Google Meets, so the Gemini tool is usually the default. It is pretty good but needs some doctoring before sharing with others—I do think that could be said for most tools though. Always exciting to see more tools launch. Especially if this produces shorter notes, that would be awesome. There's usually so much fluff you have to comb through to...

Absolutely! A large part of our company is designed to help creators make their content more accessible. We offer transcription and captioning tools for podcasts primarily. When designing our transcription tool, we worked closely with members of the hearing impaired community to ensure the final product was both easy-to-use and followed best practices. A lot of work went into ensuring the...

I think for SaaS or tools that solve a common/general need, Product Hunt is great. The type of people that are on the platform are typically not going to be the end user, but if the launch goes well, it is a great way for outlets/newsletters/groups to learn about you. Especially if you are looking to launch with a limited budget, Product Hunt and reddit are honestly great! Just keep in mind you...

I feel like most SaaS tools have had to cut their 'free' offerings, but, it's understandable. To me, allowing a user to successfully create 1 project without limits is great. They get to fully demo before deciding if it's worth the money. Especially since so many SaaS tool involve AI addons and video, COGs has gone up. Not only is the 'one free' approach good for the consumer, it helps the...

I use AI to help guide, but not to create. In my space, I feel like it is very easy to tell if something is AI-generated without any human connection. Certain words like 'boost,' 'scroll-stopping,' and the dreaded '🚀' are dead giveaways to me that something isn't human made. I work in the creator space so having an authentic, human feel is highly valued. In the space, if you don't focus on the...

Still can't believe Skype is actually gone! Crazy to think a first-mover and household name was shut down. Granted, I completely understand why, but still crazy to think Skype just couldn't keep up in an increasingly digital world.

As someone who has lived through the 'skipping MVP to MLP era,' I wish MVP would come back! In our case, we honestly wasted a lot of time with certain features, internal debates, and designs that just weren't useful or were immediately changed. I would rather have launched with MVP and asked users for feedback on what they really wanted or would like to see. While I totally understand the need...

We personally hire interns! We just had a specialized master's student wrap his content marketing internship with us. A lot of the tasks he was given could be assisted by AI but not replaced by AI. For instance, he helped build our email onboarding for new customers. That specific task cannot be offloaded to AI as it requires manual editing, adding links, creating images, etc. I would be open...

Perfect note on effort equating to attention. AI certainly makes it easier to create posts at scale, but doesn't always signal great quality or output — somethings just need to be done by a human! Curious though why the em dash was called out? I know AI has put it in content more and more, much like the 🚀, however, it is proper writing. (I will die on my alt+0151 hill!)

I think AI has just shifted priorities a little. For me, AI helps me get through a lot of the little tasks that are more visible but less enjoyable. As a marketer, there is literally always SOMETHING to do and bigger project to be working on, but, you often get swept up in the little social posts or formatting or editing or...the list goes on. AI has truly helped me streamline a lot of those...

I think in the creator world, it makes sense mostly because it is often easier to produce. AI either speeds up a lot of creation process or is able to take on most of the work. However, for the average person/social users, I don't think AI social platforms will make a ton of sense as their goal with social media is to be social and connect. A creator who is looking to monetize or build a form...
