What do you think is Cursor’s most irreplaceable strength?

To be honest, I find Cursor s VS Code experience quite uncomfortable. However, the fact that it runs seamlessly within my codebase is what keeps me from abandoning it.

That said, if Copilot were to offer the same level of integration, I don t think I d continue using Cursor. Copilot is gradually catching up with the features Cursor provides, and it works within IntelliJ, which is a big advantage for me.

Which CRM Reigns Supreme? Pipedrive vs Attio

I ve been researching CRMs and keep coming back to two options: @Pipedrive and @Attio . Both seem like solid choices, but they have very different approaches. I wanted to get some insights from the community if you ve used either (or both), I d love to hear your thoughts!

At what point is advertisement bearable and when it starts to be annoying?

I have been in marketing since 2016 (my beginnings date back to that time).

I have tried creating ads for various formats (radio, most often written content, visuals and video for the internet).

I am a marketer and, paradoxically, sometimes I find ads annoying, especially:

Does AI k*ll MVP companies?

I am noticing two contradictories:

The growth of MVP services
The growth of AI tools that help you generate the code
What's the point of MVP services when the majority of people (with a very little knowledge about the code) can use AI to create their first MVP?
Yeah, you can now argument that some solutions are technologically more difficult and that's the point where the MVP service provider can step in, but anyway...

Each model is becoming more "skilled".

🛠 Has anyone built a production app with bolt.new?

I ve been playing around with it, and it s wild how fast it spins up a full-stack app from a prompt. But I m wondering:

  • How well does it generate code for real-world use?

  • Any prompting tips to get better results?

  • How does it compare to others like Lovable?

Also, do you think tools like Bolt (full app generation) are the future, or will the Cursor-style coding assistant approach win out?

Would love to hear from anyone who's pushed this beyond a test project!

Does AI help your product or brand grow? Me not that much.

Lately I realise that I use AI to automate stuff etc, but when it comes to growing products that I built or my social presence, it does not help me much.

Like, there are probably a BILLION tools for AI-powered content creation and blah blah blah, but they haven't really helped me generate any meaningful content. So, I always end up writing the stuff I want myself, cause they are just better than the AI tools create.

Is AI making us stupid?

I hate to say it and I don't want to sound pessimistic (but it's probably happening already :D)...

with all the conveniences we have, we are so fast and unfortunately also comfortable.

Build an audience first, or launch and grow later?

This is probably one of the most debated topics in the startup world: Should you build an audience before you launch, or is it better to launch first and grow your audience afterward? I ve seen both approaches work, but each comes with its own set of challenges and rewards. - Building an audience first means you're creating buzz, validating your idea, and nurturing a community of early adopters who are invested in your success. But it takes time, patience, and a lot of effort to keep the momentum going before you even have a product to show. - Launching first lets you hit the ground running, gather real-world feedback, and iterate quickly. But without an existing audience, you might struggle to get those initial users and traction. So, indulge me: Which approach did you take or are you considering taking (those who haven't launched yet)? - Did you build an audience before launching your product, or did you launch and then focus on growth? - What worked (or didn't work) for you? - If you could go back, would you do it differently? Share your story with us so we can all learn from each other. There's someone here who could benefit from your experience. ----- P.S: If you're a growth-stage founder struggling with churn or stagnant customer acquisition (usually because of poor positioning and messaging), I'd love to help. I specialize in crafting impactful marketing strategies tailored specifically to your product so you can start seeing the results you deserve. Connect with me on LinkedIn today. What has changed on PH in a year?

Hey PH friends, I need some help and advice. It s been a year since we launched our product on PH, and I was wondering if there s anything new I should be aware of as we prepare for our next launch. Have there been any changes to the process, workflow, new features, rules, or tips basically anything that could help make our launch as successful as possible? I d love to hear about your latest experiences in this thread. Thanks! Chad

How do you come up with ideas for new features (products)?

We're all different. For some people, coming up with new ideas (products) is a system. For others - inspiration. Let's share the experience

Which Chrome Extensions can you not live without?

I love chrome extensions! They make some of my tasks super easy. I add/remove extensions regularly, but these are some of them which I can't remove for sure. - Grammarly: Extraordinary help while writing anything from emails to blogs. - Dashlane: Can never remember my passwords. - Pocket: Best way to not lose the articles I want to read later. - Loom: Video version of "This meeting could've been an email". I love to quickly record screens and send it to my teammates. - Wappalyzer: When I want to know the tech stack on which a website is built on. - Honey: Of course! Which girl doesn't like good shopping deals. And while you re here, Check out our product Supademo. A simple Chrome Extension helps you create interactive product demos in minutes. We have launched on Product hunt!! We would love to see your love and support. https://www.producthunt.com/post... Edit - Adding the most suggested extensions received in the comments. 1. Which is more productive for you: working from home or the office?

I'm very productive when I'm in the comfort of my home but there are days I find the structure of an office beneficial. I guess working hybrid makes me the most productive
