Quick intro with a number instead of a bio: 300+. That's how many businesses I've set up operations for as a consultant. ClickUp, HubSpot, QuickBooks, the whole stack, from 3-person agencies to companies doing millions.

Here's the pattern I saw in almost every single one. The tools were fine. The people were fine. The problem lived in the gaps between the tools. A client goes cold in Gmail while the project looks green in ClickUp and the invoice sits unpaid in QuickBooks. Three systems, three "everything is okay" dashboards, one client about to churn. Nobody sees it because nobody's job is to look across all three.

For solo makers, wearing every hat is almost unavoidable - developer, marketer, support, product and often designer too.

AI makes this even easier now. You can generate UI pretty quickly, but a lot of products end up relying on consistent, polished AI-generated solutions rather than something truly unique or thoughtfully designed for their specific product.

Do you design the UI/UX yourself when building solo?

People keep asking about the "Built With" list on our page, so here's the honest version. Claude Code wrote most of the product with me directing it. Supabase for data, Vercel for hosting, Slack as one of the main interfaces so Binee acts like a team member instead of another tab.
