Product designer building for unlearning

About

Product designer since 2020, from LA to the Silicon Valley! I've been designing my own consumer products on and off since then, but I only committed to the actual founder journey in September 2025 when I saw a meme on Instagram that inspired Retrocodex: Stuff You Learned Wrong. I committed to making the site after I saw an Instagram comment that said "I know I'm living life with an outdated operating system". I didn't want myself or anybody else to have that. I hope you enjoy the site and make an account to join the community of Unlearners! I'd love to know what myth bothers you most that's on the site -- if it's not there, please submit it!

I made a Reddit community for my product, getting 4,500+ followers in just 3 months

It's a great way to validate demand, build a user base/community before launching, and just have fun posting memes.

My subreddit is /r/LearnedWrong, which I built for my (not launched on PH yet) site Retrocodex. It's a space where you discover what you've been taught in school or everyday life that's now outdated or was always a myth. Since what everyone has been taught varies by location, you can see what users from your state or country have submitted and commented.

Will solo startups dominate the business landscape in the future?

Today, this graphic caught my attention:

It featured individuals who managed to build significant profit while running their businesses solo, without employees. Until now, I ve seen these more as exceptions rather than the norm.
