About

I’m Christian, creator of Fluentime. My background is coding, marketing, client work, and freelancing. Over the years, I tried many time-tracking tools, but most of them felt disconnected from how project work actually happens. Tracking time was never the real problem for me. The harder part was keeping entries accurate, explaining the work clearly, keeping clients updated, and understanding whether projects were still profitable. That’s why I built Fluentime: a visual time-tracking and planning app that works around your calendar, helps you create cleaner entries with AI, and makes project progress easier to share with clients. My goal is to make time tracking feel less like admin and more like a natural part of doing good work.

💲 Bootstrap your growth or raise to scale?

At some point, almost every founder faces the same question.
Keep growing with your own revenue...
or raise capital and move faster.
Bootstrapping gives you:
full control
sustainable growth
freedom to build on your terms
Funding can give you:
speed
bigger opportunities
the ability to build a stronger team sooner
Neither path is easy.
Neither guarantees success.
What path are you choosing, and why?

Hi Hunters – Christian here, creator of Fluentime 👋

Fluentime is a native Mac and iOS app for planning work, tracking time, and keeping clients in the loop.

You may reasonably ask: Why build another time-tracking app?

Because most tools are either too basic or overloaded with features that get in the way. I wanted something simple, but genuinely useful: voice input for fast entries, AI rewrite for clear invoice-ready descriptions, and shareable dashboards for smoother client onboarding and project updates.

Fluentime is now live, and I m here to connect with other makers, learn from the community, and use your insights and feedback to keep improving what I m building.

If you lost access to social media, what would you do? (in personal life + business)

I refer to how the UK banned social media for teenagers under 16.

The funny moment was when the BBC News moderator asked the student: How much screen time does she have on the weekend (9 hours) and What will she do with her free time now? (Staring at the wall.)
