On June 14, 2023, the European Parliament officially voted to ban unpaid internships.

This honestly made me happy, because I remember how, during college, I was expected to spend a full 2 months working full-time at an advertising agency as an unpaid intern (Spoiler alert: I fought for and got some pay ), but that wasn t the norm.

I ve noticed that my workflow has changed completely over the last year. I rarely start a new project with a blank file anymore. Instead, I pick a template, reuse snippets, or let an AI helper suggest the structure and then I just vibe my way through the build.

It s faster, but sometimes I miss the old blank screen energy, when every line felt handcrafted.

I m Cam - building InboxAgents after running abuse filters for top creators DMs. The surprise wasn t the harassment (we expected that) but the missed money: paid collabs and leads were getting buried across email & DMs. Managers were busy so there were lucrative opportunities slipping through.

Money is not everything, but it can be a means to generate happiness. I am just honest. :D
