Congrats ! The energy in the video and the landing page design are amazing. What kind of companies are you targeting? Do you have a video demo of an actual call?

Amazing ! raising $100K on a deck as a solo founder is a huge step. It is clear that the funding didn’t come just from the idea, but from the credibility and depth of experience you brought into the room. VCs clearly bet on the founder as much as the product. Thanks for sharing your experience in detail. I joined the waitlist. Looking forward to testing the app :)

Landing pages are boring. VidLp is a video-landing-page builder. Instead of long texts, VidLp lets you turn your landing page into a dynamic video experience. Upload your video, add CTAs, customize design (colors, fonts ...) and connect your domain. No code.

This sounds really practical. I started doing this with my team a few months ago and it does help tracking everything ! Excited to see your pet project come to life! Do you envision it as more of a personal tool, or something teams could adopt for shared visibility?

Love the idea. This is something I've personally struggled with for a while. Do you see this being more like a daily accountability partner, or more of a long-term habit-tracking assistant?

The startup ecosystem really is fragmented, and trying to juggle investors, talent, and visibility separately is challenging. Curious to see how AI matching actually works in practice..

This sounds great.. how does Answerly handle privacy/security when analyzing a user’s screen? Also, would love to know if it works beyond coding/quiz contexts (like spreadsheets, research, etc.) or if you’re focusing tightly on the learning side first.

Cool concept! Love the ephemeral angle.Private and spontanous. Curious to see how people end up using it (casual chats, quick brainstorming, maybe even anonymous support groups) who is your first target ?

Very interesting project. The “micro-mentorship” angle is on point, a quick chat with the right person is enough to get unstuck. The public “Snapshots” idea sounds like it could build a really strong knowledge base over time too. I'll sign up for the waitlist. Looking forward to see how this grows.

I’d start with organic reach first. it’s slower but way more sustainable long term. I think this product would get more traction in relevant Reddit/Discord communities. Micro-influencers are also a good option, way cheaper and often more engaged than the big names. And if you can turn early user feedback into blog posts or case studies, that doubles as both content and social proof.

@sarrah_pitaliya Thank you for your feedback, you’re absolutely right, it's really about relationships, timing, and storytelling. What’s one thing you would do even earlier next time to build momentum before launch day? And do you apply this engagement strategy only on PH, or also on Reddit, X, Facebook ... ?

I’d say the most essential skill now is being able to test fast. Picking up a new tool or SaaS, launching a quick version, and seeing how the market reacts. Things move so quickly in 2025 that speed of validation often matters more than polishing for weeks.

This is interesting. I always have to go back looking for my screenshots and it is a bit frustrating. This could bring value specially if the interface is intuitive and easy to use.

Sounds like a promising project. Can you give more details on the next steps you will be taking : building and marketing ? Also does it publish from our own account?

Hey there, I believe that every case is unique, but here’s my perspective: 1. We applied once. 2. We were early and growing relatively fast and was irrationally ambitious. 3. If you get accepted into YC, it’s absolutely worth it. Even if you don’t secure a spot, the process itself exposes you to high-quality content from YC and helps you set clear milestones that can be applied to your startup.
Has anyone here applied to YC and gotten in?
