Hi Makers! This thread is dedicated to you if you are: (1) launching soon or recently launched (2) looking for beta users (3) asking for feedback on a landing page First, start by helping out another maker. You can check out their launch, give their product a review or share a comment on their launch post. Once you've helped someone else out, share your product link here and BE SPECIFIC about who your target audience is and how we can help.
As the title suggests, I want to discuss strategies that SaaS companies have implemented or hope to implement on converting their free users into a free trial, and hopefully a paid plan. What have your most successful campaigns been vs some of your worst to get these conversions? Hearing the details of both successful & non-successful campaigns could hopefully streamline the process for other startups and help increase paid users!
With traditional marketing methods yielding fewer results without a bomb combination of custom audience, content, and conversion funnels (not to mention budget) what types of unique strategies have you started to implement across product and free channels to increase acquisition, conversion, and consistent value to your customers?
For the first time, I'm launching a B2B product. This product is a SaaS sales solution for a niche industry. We've always capped our free beta users at 15, for feedback cycles in my previous B2C launches. However, this product a much higher ticket item and the value itself has significant ROI immediately. I want to charge off the bat. But I'm not sure that's the right move right out of the gates (leaning prob not). I'm curious to hear from other makers who have launched B2B SaaS products and their thoughts about getting their first 1-3 users / customers (institutional level). Should the same methodology apply? (i.e. exchange feedback for payment) Appreciate any insight!
I'm so inspired of previous discussion about favorite ways of learning new things. It shows that a lot of people here love reading books, so I decided to do this thread. Maybe if it became popular we could share what we've read every month?

Hi folks, I have been building https://barbra.io since the beginning of the year, and have been reluctant about launching on Product Hunt just yet. It feels in a way very official, unforgiving and intimidating. Did you also feel that? I wanted to ask in what stage is it optimal to launch on PH?
