1-Star Review ToonBee $67 Unlimited Offer: Very Disappointing Experience
I purchased ToonBee through the $67 one-time payment offer, primarily because the offer represented unlimited video generation. Unfortunately, my actual experience has been very different from what I expected.
After generating only 12 images, the system stopped and displayed a message saying that my daily quota had been exhausted and that generation would resume once the quota refreshed. For me, this was completely inconsistent with my understanding of an unlimited offer.
I contacted the ToonBee team to explain the issue. Instead of providing the unlimited access I believed I had purchased, they offered me 500 additional credits for the day. I did not consider this an adequate solution because my concern was specifically about the advertised unlimited access, not about receiving a small number of additional credits.
I'm interested in knowing what approaches indie developers and Makers use when getting ready for the final preparation step before submitting their iOS app to Apple for App Store Review.
I'm currently working on my own app, Lina, a task management tool that automatically arranges tasks by their priority and dependencies and uses notifications to help users stick to schedule.
And while preparing my app for submission, I've noticed that reviewing only the App Store Review Guidelines is not enough. There are lots of details that may easily get overlooked.
And if you've launched any iOS apps, I'd be interested in learning your workflows.
