I chose Waylight because I believed it could, if it stayed true to its promises, serve as a tool to help me recall events from my day that I might forget. Its primary use cases appeared to be providing a comprehensive overview of the day and revealing what I actually did, rather than my assumptions of what I had done.
What is the performance impact on Apple Silicon Macs?
It really depends on what you mean by performance. In terms of speed and responsiveness, it feels solid.
But if performance also means stability and consistency, it struggles. It crashed three times within about 24 hours of use. Overall, the experience is mixed.

I would say that's one of the many weaknesses, and it's quite inaccurate.

There is no learning curve per se. It's pretty straightforward. You start with onboarding, and that's it.
