Problem Analysis: Can SaaS replace a fractional CMO for small B2B growth?

1. Problem Breakdown from the Moderator:

A detailed description of a systemic pain point in the B2B segment has come to ProblemHunt. This is not a classic user request but rather an analysis from a consultant. We can't publish it as a standard problem, but it's too profound to ignore. Let's examine it as a case study. Before publication, all unnecessary information was removed while preserving the important details and essence.

Is building founders’ social media personas becoming a new business? How does it cost?

The day before yesterday, I was looking at the profiles of founders and team members of Lovable, as well as other companies, e.g. Hubspot, and they all look pretty good.

Lately, I ve been getting offers to help grow LinkedIn profiles from several founders, and I m starting to feel like at least LinkedIn is hype.

What is your opinion on artificial intelligence companions (their harm and regulation)?

Currently reading about the move of California:

The state has become the first U.S. state to regulate AI companion chatbots. Governor Gavin Newsom signed SB 243, a new law requiring companies like OpenAI, Meta, Character AI, and Replika to implement safety protocols protecting children and vulnerable users.

What AI-native features could make Product Hunt even better?

I have been a Product Hunt user for 5 years now, and it's been amazing to see how much the platform has evolved.

That said, I sometimes feel the absence of AI-native features. Things like smart filtering of fake profiles during the signup stage, automated link health checks on launch pages, or even an AI-driven support assistant (remember the old chat widget?).

How would you use AI to automate insights from multiple data sources? 🤔

Hi PH community!

We've been steadily improving Tower over the past few months, with huge progress since 2024.
Tower now connects directly to your data, automatically builds semantics, transformations, and dashboards, and generates actionable insights in minutes.

New in 2025.10:

  • Tower Pipelines: Combine multiple sources (HubSpot, Snowflake, Airtable, Excel, Databricks, MS SQL, Tally Prime, and more) without a separate ETL tool

  • Tablet Apps: AI-native dashboards for iOS & Android

  • Smarter AI analytics & new connectors

  • Intelligent data transforms

  • Tons of performance and UI/UX improvements

What’s the one thing that always breaks first when you take an AI project from demo to production?

We ve all been there- the prototype works beautifully, the demo looks magical and then everything breaks when real users hit it.

Sometimes it s context loss.

Sometimes it s API chaos.

Which newsletter service do you use? (The best UX/UI + monetisation aspects)

When I started my newsletter 2 years ago, I used Mailchimp I was familiar with it from previous projects because it offered fairly extensive analytics and testing. The problem was that the articles weren t public. Mailchimp is more suitable for business newsletters like sales offers, etc.

Monetization:

When I wanted to take the next step and monetise, I looked into Beehiiv. At that time, however, I wasn t in the mood to pay the costs without yet earning any revenue in my opinion, Beehiiv has the best monetisation model (subscriptions, ad revenue sharing, sponsorships, etc.). Considering costs...

Is it possible to improve "AI SEO" on ChatGPT using Reddit?

I have seen ChatGPT often cites Reddit when forming responses.

Last month, there was a flood of posts on LinkedIn recommending brands to establish a presence on Reddit for better AI SEO.

What inspired you to start a business?

I'll say it bluntly that running a business is not as easy as it is presented on the Internet. You have to come up with a good and useful idea, and even then, you don't win.

You can only see the results after a long time. Not everyone can do it for a long time. To do it, you need to have a strong motive. For some people, it may be a family tradition, for some, money.

What would make AI product discovery feel magic, not spam?

Hey Hunters Sheraz here (CTO, Co-Founder Zanderio). Quick peek at one prototype piece we re obsessed with:

What the prototype does today

  • Understands needs + constraints (product type, size, budget, season).

  • Compares 2 3 real products with why this match (specs, stock, price).

  • Setup target: <10 minutes via Shopify app + auto-ingest.

Launching RizzCalc - the first AI financial modeling agent in Google Sheets!

Hello everyone! Today, we re launching RizzCalc on Product Hunt the first AI financial modeling agent built on Google Sheets.

We've been building a proprietary spreadsheet for SEO and GEO since 2024. During a mid-year iteration, we unexpectedly discovered that this engine also had the ability to build complex financial models!

  • With the right-hand sidebar, you can input any natural language prompt such as create a DCF model, adjust income statement projections, or update cash flow modeling and the AI will instantly make the changes in your spreadsheet.

After waiting for a while, we realized that despite nearly a billion Google Sheets users worldwide, there was still no smart and simple financial tool in the ecosystem. So, we took some time to package it up and release it as a new product for all spreadsheet enthusiasts.

Curious: biggest gaps you’ve felt in launch marketing (video/creative side)?

Hi all,

I m a commercial videographer who s been geeking out over SaaS and new tech for a while now. I m starting to explore how my background in video might fit into the SaaS world, and I d love to learn from people here who ve actually been through launches.

From what I ve seen so far, two common struggles seem to pop up:

Explaining the product clearly: A lot of SaaS landing pages or demos end up heavy on text but don t actually show how the product works in a way a new user gets it.

Would you trust an AI to add items to a shopper’s cart?

Hey Hunter, Sheraz here (CTO/Co-founder). I m exploring a shift from support chatbots to a sales agent that actually helps shoppers decide and places items in the cart when they say yes.

What we re testing that s different:

  • Decisioning, not deflection: compare two products in-chat with real specs/stock.

  • Zero training ingest: it learns catalog, price, and inventory automatically.

  • Timed nudges: smart bundles/discounts only at the moment of intent.

  • One outcome: add to cart right inside chat + clear funnel/AOV analytics.

I d love your take on three things:

Anyone is joining SF/LA Tech week?

HyNote is giving out free HyNote premium access to attendees who want to turn scattered sources into organized notes.

Does OpenAI have the potential to replace LinkedIn? Their latest project.

I often hear that LinkedIn is starting to be cringe, becoming a second Facebook, but let s be honest: it s still a career platform. A little cringe, but it still is.

On the other hand, Sam Altman introduced a new ambition OpenAI Jobs Platform an AI-powered hiring platform, expected to launch by mid-2026.
