With the exception of a few client engagements, I've always worked remotely - that's almost a decade of remote work experience under my belt! I guess my tricks for not going mad are mostly: Having set working hours and being very strict about them - This took me years! Back in the day, I used to sandwich work between other activities and it was terrible for my health. It felt like my workday...

Mmm... I can think of different reasons to go for one or the other. The polished, feature-centric video: Could be great for ads - or any other context where it's important to make a good first impression and hook the user. Would be easier to delegate/outsource. The founder video: Would humanize the brand Would provide a more in-depth view of the product Could require more time and budget -...
Should our product launch video feature a real person or just a voiceover with product footage?

Do you still believe in SEO?
Hi there! I've been working in content marketing & SEO for almost a decade - and while I've seen many announcements of the death of SEO, the current search climate, combined with the latest announcements from Google are strong signals that SEO may (finally 😅) be over. What do you think? Is "answer engine optimization" the answer? 🤔

I agree with you! I miss the diversity of mobile phone designs we had in the 2000s, so I'm really liking the new Motorolas!

3D modelling. The interfaces just overwhelm me and I know it'll take me years of daily practice to reach a level of proficiency I'd be happy with.

I was just discussing the content of "no-face" reels with my marketing team yesterday. Thanks for these ideas. When it comes to creating the reels themselves, I recommend investing in some quality footage (if necessary), and being open to doing voiceover.

I've been sitting at my desk for a few minutes, asking myself what's the best part of working remote for me - and I just can't pick one factor. I've always worked remotely (I joined the workforce in 2017, I'm pretty young), and I just can't fathom any other way of working for me. But it depends a lot on how the company you're working with handles remote work. Some teams have to deal with strict...

That's a great question. As someone who regularly works with Web3 projects, I think that NFTs have a lot of potential as a concept, but their art market application isn't the best one. Like a lot of other things, it's better understood as a niche solution to specific problems rather than something that everyone should get onboard with. And I don't believe them to be a good option for a...

Notion is a GREAT tool. I use it both at work (as a team space, to share important documentation and keep up with projects), and at home (finances, reading list, recipes, etc.) I love how versatile it is while remaining very minimalist and easy to navigate. I'd love to be able to self-host it, tho. That's its only downside, in my opinion. And it's one that it shares with most of its competitors.
