Love the product! The fact that I can have the equivalent of a meeting, async, over video is huge. The UX is good and only getting better. Well done @casjam !
Been using ZipMessage for a while now, huge fan! All of our work is async by default, so having the ability to organize high-fidelity video conversations async has been amazing.
We use Notion for pretty much everything, and as we've adopted ZM we've started associating a ZM conversation link with each project to give us a long-running space for async video comms.
Love what y'all are doing, keep it up, and congrats on the launch @casjam and team π
@conarro thanks Kyle!
A customer (I think it was you?) recently shared that our embeddable videos and intake forms work inside of Notion π
Full API coming out next week!
@casjam yep, that was me π -- pumped to build stuff with the full API!

ZipMessage is one of my favorite products for my coaching business and in general. I can have communications back and forth with one or multiple people that allow us to all respond in the way that we prefer. I HATE talking on the phone, there's no facial response to back up the words. But I don't mind leaving a short video so that folks can see and understand the passion or frustration on my face when I share something.
Engaging with humans is hard, but when you can do it in a way that makes most sense for you, and your own neurodiversities, it makes responding to someone and engaging, feel easier and on your terms. It's also really great to be able to have side conversations with my coaching clients so they can ask me things in-the-moment. It's time-stamped so I can easily capture the time I've spent with that client, and invoice them accordingly, but also be there anytime they need me.
The BIGGEST win of all is it cuts down on meeting life and helps you work more asynchronously. If that's not a win to get you to check it out, then I don't know what is! GET OUT of all those meetings and try ZipMessage!!!
I have SO many reasons to love ZipMessage, and you all should try it so you can figure out all of your own reasons to love ZipMessage too. Plus, @casjam is a great human, one you respect and adore, so if all of this didn't convince you, then go say hey to Brian and you'll see what I mean.
@tessak22 great review, thanks so much Tessa and thanks for being an early supporter!
I can't stand phone calls either. Async FTW!

I'm using ZipMesage on my website in place of asking potential clients to book a phone call. I found through my own customer research survey that most site visitors aren't warm or ready enough to hop on the phone.
ZipMessage is awesome. I've been using it for a while, and it's completely replaced two tools (Loom and Screenjar) plus I use it alongside a bunch of others (email, Zoom, etc.). It doesn't completely replace the synchronous communication tools, but I'd say 50% of the time I might otherwise schedule a meeting, I instead start the conversation on ZipMessage. I save a ton of time this way.
It can also be great for upgrading a low-fidelity async conversation. For example, instead of emailing someone, record a quick message and send it to them. It's got all the benefits of email (async, gives you time to prepare a response, etc.) with almost all of the benefits of a real conversation (more personable, ability to communicate tone, etc.).
@tyler_king1 thanks for all the support and being an early user Tyler!
Totally agree -- sync calls will always have their place. I like the combo of offering ZipMessage as an async alternative to a call, or a way to kick off a conversation pre-call or post-call followup.

ZipMessage is a great way to communicate about topics and details that need a bit more than an email, but that don't really need people to have the conversation in real time.
Congratulations, looks like a great product! Personally I would find it useful to be able to record the outcome of the conversation at the top of the thread, and be able to bookmark key conversations and assets in the conversation accordingly. This is particularly useful for a third party invited to review the conversation (such as a line manager) without rooting through the preliminary detail or backgorund.
Good luck with the rest of your PH day and with ZipMessage π
@jaymiethomas That was exactly my thought when designing ZipMessage!
Each message in the conversation has it's own anchor link, making it easy to reference a specific part of a conversation, while still being able to scroll up or down for context.
Thanks Jaymie!
