Honestly, there wasn't much of a choice. Zen Reports reads GA4 data through Google's Analytics Data API and that API only lives inside Google Cloud. We needed a GCP project for the OAuth consent screen and the analytics.readonly scope, and Google's verification review that lets users connect their Analytics in 30 seconds with zero anxiety. AWS, Vercel, and Cloudflare are great elsewhere in our stack but there's no path to GA4 from outside Google's own cloud.
