*Not my project* New open source browser using Firefox' rendering engine with a sidebar centered UI, split views, and workspaces reminiscent of The Browser Company's Arc Browser.

I loved the simple beautiful UI and the split screen but is it safe to use? sorry for asking this question but how can you prove that it is safe.
Rully Ardiansyah
@muhammad_salman39 it is safe because it's using firefox
César
@muhammad_salman39 @devoresyah The Firefox base only guarantees openness and privacy (to a certain point), security depends purely on the strength of the developers in charge of the project. And in this case it is a one-man company.

Mac app(M1) doesn't seem to work for me. I get this error: “Zen Browser” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should eject the disk image.
Daniel Contreras
@anshulg8 That's because they haven't signed the app, you need to run in the terminal xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /path/to.app to remove the quarantine, then it will let you open it

Is this as reliable and private as Safari browser, just curious to know if this can be an alternative to Brave.

Congrats on the launch! How is this different from other privacy focused browsers like Duck Duck Go or Firefox Focus? Looking forward to hearing from you!
Robert Thomas
A browser that prioritizes privacy while offering a sleek design and innovative features is exactly what we need in today’s digital world. Kudos to the team behind this launch! Upvoted!

You should sign and notarize it for mac os, apple dev account will cost you 100-150$

@shobhit98 The website says that the team does not have the resources to pay 100 euros a year for this.
