I'm CORS and Effect, and this is my first launch ever!
I built YourKey AI: OpenAI, Claude & Gemini Side Panel out of a personal frustration with the current state of browser AI tools. Most extensions operate as expensive wrappers that force users into monthly subscriptions while silently routing data through third-party servers. For enterprise workers, freelance editors, and privacy-conscious professionals, this data logging is an unacceptable risk.
I wanted a zero-markup, completely transparent alternative. YourKey AI solves this by using a strict Bring-Your-Own-Key (BYOK) architecture.
Initially, my goal was just a lightweight sidebar. However, during development, I realized how critical absolute data isolation is. I refactored the extension to run entirely serverless. All of your API keys and conversation histories are isolated 100% within your browser's secure local sandbox. There are zero middleman servers, zero tracking cookies, and 0% telemetry collection. You connect directly to the APIs of OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini, paying only for the exact raw tokens you consume, directly to the providers.
Since it just passed the Chrome Web Store review, I wanted to share it with the PH community. I would love to hear your technical feedback or any bug reports!
