Hey everyone!
I’m Laura, a Robotics and AI graduate (Edge Hill University) and over the last 6 months I’ve been building Yourdo by myself.
The idea actually came from my friend Dan, who has wanted an app like this to exist for nearly 10 years. We’d always talk about how useful knowledge online is scattered everywhere across comments, videos, forums and social media posts, and how nice it would be to have one place where communities could share what they know in a structured way.
That idea eventually became Yourdo.
People can create fan pages and communities around the things they love, then share guides using text, images and video. Whether it’s gaming, films, books, fitness, travel, local hidden gems or something completely niche, anyone can contribute what they’ve learned.
Building it has been a huge learning experience and it’s still evolving every week. This launch includes guides, community pages, achievements, progress tracking and much more.
I’d genuinely love to hear what you think, what you’d improve, and what communities you’d create.
Thanks for checking it out :)
Why did you build it for iPhone? Do you plan web and Android apps also?

@konrad_sx Thank you! I chose iOS because I use an iPhone so it made sense for me to be able to use the app daily, I am planning on creating an Android version, I just want to update and perfect the iOS version first so I am not having to replicate updates on both :)
