On the recording front, I'd be keen to watch (and own / retain) a 360 recording of what my stylist does when she cuts my hair. Currently the only real glimpse I get is that quick flash of the mirror at the end to see the back.

That is a really good idea. Thank you for sharing it. However, I find other hair related website more convenient. Have you ever heard about https://www.hadviser.com/perm-hair/ . I’ve done myself perm hair by reading tutorials and articles from there. My friends tell me that it look beautiful and just like on salons level.
