What do you think? …

Erman Taylan
It needs a Google Calendar integration.

@etaylan was just about to say that. I don't care how great the design is if I can't see my Google calendar 😱😱
Andrew Ettinger
@etaylan Yup! So beautiful, but essentially useless without GCal
Momeks
@etaylan You can read my reasons.

Looks a lot like Clear's minimal, colorful design. good timing with Sunrise's closure.
Blake Robinson
@rrhoover Also looks A LOT like Sunrise's logo.
Harry Raymond
@rrhoover hanging on until the last minute to Sunrise. Still haven't found a favorite alternative.
Steven Hambleton
@harryraymond Getting nervous now!

I'm so over these calendar apps. The market is already flooded with so many.
Steven Hambleton
@austin_songer Yet no viable alternative to Sunrise..

Hi, thank you Margaret for hunting my app and everyone for your comments ! This is Momeks developer of Yearly. Actually this my first experience on developing app in Swift language, I never thought it's gonna be really trending app!. But let me explain why this is so simple. First and foremost I am not fan of iOS/Gmail calendars they have so much complex options so I thought if some one link me try to use a calendar I prefer the simplest one.Secondly I think you are right still there are some features like sync and etc… that should be added to the app,but I am trying to change the main idea from calendar to a reminder app. I think this drops some expectations!. By the way I would like to share my other apps like Audiogram (http://audiogramapp.com) and Find It (http://appersian.net/findit).

Some cool UI exploration, the lack of calendar integration (which is a must-have) is a dealbreaker though. Also, small pointer - having the X button in the onboarding be on the 1st page and not being able to exit from the last page (i.e. I have to scroll back to the first page) is a little nonstandard, I'd change that for v2!
Momeks
@bryantpeng Thanks ! I will fix this

So lovely. But a missed opportunity with Sunrise closing and the decision to not support system calendars.

I am selling this project if someone is interesting in to buy it let me know ☺️
