Hey ProductHunt, Made a major update to YC Mentor. You can now get better feedback on your YC application. You can also create share links so you can get feedback from other people. Let me know what you think!

This is an awesome update, @dynamo! The ability to get AI feedback on YC applications sounds like a game-changer for applicants. Having the option to create share links to receive insights from real people adds a valuable layer of collaboration that can really enhance the application process. I’m curious about how the feedback algorithms work. Are there specific areas of the application that the AI focuses on more? It’d be great to see what kind of metrics you’re using to measure the quality of the feedback too. This feature should definitely improve the chances for many startups looking to get into YC. Excited to see how the community engages with this and what feedback they have! Keep up the fantastic work! 🚀

This is a really interesting update, @dynamo! Getting feedback on YC applications can be super critical for success. I’m curious about how the AI feedback mechanism works—does it focus on specific sections of the application or provide an overall analysis? Also, what kind of user data is used to train the AI for giving this feedback? And regarding the share links feature, how do you ensure that the feedback from real people is constructive? Are there any built-in guidelines to help reviewers provide valuable insights? It's great to see such a resource for makers looking to refine their pitches. Looking forward to hearing more about it!

Congrats on the update, JP! The new feedback features sound really useful. Just wondering, can I control who sees the feedback on the share links? Would be great to keep some feedback private before I'm ready to share it widely. Cheers!
JP
@michaelgreen Hey Michael, so right now I guess you can just give one link per person to keep the feedback private that way but I think a better way i can implement might be so that when you create a share link you can select if you want to make the feedback on it only visible to you. Does this make sense or do you see it working a different way?
