YardKeep catalogs a fabric stash with photos and yardage so quilters can search it from any device, even standing in the fabric shop. It prints an insurance-ready inventory (photos + replacement values), tracks precuts as precuts, and includes a quilt designer that sketches layouts with photos of fabric you actually own. Free for 30 fabrics. Pro is a one-time $28.99

Hi Product Hunt! I'm a developer and my mom has quilted for about 20 years. Last spring a friend from her guild lost part of her sewing room to a burst pipe, and the insurance company asked for an itemized list with values. She had nothing. Watching her rebuild that list from memory is what finally got us to catalog my mom's stash: two hundred cuts of fabric, two Saturday afternoons, a lot of coffee.
The spreadsheet we started with didn't survive contact with real life, so I built her a web app instead. Photos, yardage, search by color from her phone in the fabric store (she bought the same navy batik three times before this). The insurance report is one button now.
Her guild adopted it and then asked me to put it online, so here it is. Free for your first 30 fabrics. The paid tier is a one-time $28.99, because when I asked her guild what they'd pay for, "one payment" was the unanimous answer.
If you quilt, or someone in your life does, I'd love to hear what's missing.

Finally something built for quilters specifically, not just a generic inventory app. Love that I can pull up my stash on my phone while standing in the shop debating a new bolt.
