After watching a landscaper stand in blistering heat searching for a client's number on a piece of paper, I built a solution. First in my head on the flight home. Yard Desq gives solo landscapers clean client records, a daily job list, one-tap payment requests via Venmo/Zelle/Cash App, and seasonal hold management - all in their pocket before they pull up to the property. $9.99/mo. Try free for 30 days. Switch to native Spanish in one tap. Not Google Translate. Actually translated.

I'm Gia, the founder of Yard Desq. I designed every screen and button of this product myself and used Claude as my programmer. I made countless iterations across many weeks getting the features right without adding things that weren't really needed but just would seem good to say it was in there. The goal was 2-3 taps max to get anything done.
The origin: I was visiting my Mom in Phoenix in March. It was already over 100°. I watched her landscaper stand in the heat trying to find his next client's number. He scrolled texts, checked contacts, walked back to his truck, found it on a piece of paper next to his lunch napkins.
I built Yard Desq based on that seared in vision in my head. A capable solo business guy running a route, not a company.
A few things I'd love feedback on:
1. Is $9.99/mo with a 30 day free trial the right price for a solo contractor? Competitors I found charge upwards of 8x that, though most are overkill for the lone person grinding it out.
Would it be reasonable to also offer a one time fee for 12 months at a discount?
2. I'm also trying to find the right marketing direction, so guidance on that would be appreciated. Reddit kept canning my posts when I looked for test users. I thought Nextdoor would be perfect but nope. How would you market this?
Happy to answer anything,
