I built X (Twitter) Exporter to solve a simple problem: backing up and analyzing Twitter data shouldn't be complicated.
What it does:
Export followers, following lists, tweets, bookmarks, DMs, community members, block lists, and more from X/Twitter. Everything saves as CSV.
Why it's useful:
- Backup your social connections before they're gone
- Migrate block lists between accounts
- Analyze follower patterns
- Archive important conversations and bookmarks
Technical highlights:
- Handles Twitter's rate limits automatically
- Resume interrupted exports without losing progress
- Background processing for large datasets (yes, even accounts with 100K+ followers)
- 100% local processing - no data leaves your browser
Built this because existing tools were either too expensive(subscribe), unreliable, or required handing over account credentials. This runs entirely in your browser as an extension.
Current limitations: Large exports can take time (hours for massive accounts), and you need to keep your browser running for background tasks.
