Hey guys, I'm Preston.šŸ‘‹ Worklink is a marketplace and social platform for corporate employees looking to capture, share, and monetize the things they create at work. šŸ›‘ The problem The playbook for career advancement is outdated and ineffective. Updating your resume, networking with people you dont know, waiting for your annual promotion cycle. If you're relying on these methods for making an impact in the corporate world, it's gonna take a while. āš”ļø The solution Worklink provides a better way: 1. Build a work portfolio by capturing your expertise in posts, projects, or products. Simply share the actual work you're doing. 2. Find other users who love the things you're working on without ever leaving the platform. 3. Scale your earnings and impact by offering digital products, courses, or consulting services to other brands or corporate employees looking to build things like you've built. 🧠 Our Philosophy Historically, corporate work happens in silos and behind closed doors. We're looking to change that. We believe the future of work is decentralized and open-source. Where ownership of an asset is shared only by the creators and has utility across companies and even industries. We see collaboration as key to providing the best solutions to the market. If someone has built a great solution, someone else can remix it and make it even better. We believe corporate creators should be compensated proportionate to their impact. If you're the best in the world at your area of expertise, you should be compensated accordingly. šŸ¤ The Ask This is my first Product Hunt launch so I'm eager for feedback. Hope you enjoy Worklink and please let me know how we can improve! Preston

props to all the talented developers programmers and engineers Ive worked with over the years who had side hustles that never got released to the public, using something like this helps these code wizards get their share. Love it thanks Preston.

Hey, @preston_newsome1 great product! I love the concept of building a portfolio and connecting with like-minded professionals! Curious, though—are any upcoming features to enhance the visibility of users' work within the platform?
Preston Newsome
@prakhar_tandon_1 Thanks Prakhar! Really appreciate the support. Yes, a few ways we plan to do this: (1) bring supply on to the platform by allowing employers to hire consultants.(2) We plan to build a more algorithmic home feed for matching products/projects with interest and area of expertise. I'd be interested to hear if you have any ideas. As a user, what solutions would you like to see to enhance visibility?
Nick Newman
It's interesting to see a platform that encourages sharing and remixing solutions across companies. How do you manage intellectual property rights in such an open environment?
Preston Newsome
@nickman Hey Nick! Appreciate the question. Users are able to control visibility of every asset, allowing them to only show assets within their team or hide them from everyone. But long story short, the burden will fall on the user to extract proprietary data if/when necessary. We're looking into features to make this easier (i.e. using AI to flag proprietary data before a user publishes a product, etc.) Any other ideas on how we can do this?
