What used to take hours in after Effets can now be done live in AR! Type anything in 3D and add it to your world! Use emojis, a weather widget, add some snow falling, or even some bokeh effects to your shots! Photo or video, portrait or landscape. Perfect for Stories and social media posts with! Ideal for 3D birthday cards and product promo videos!
@pallav_agarwal 100% real deal live AR magic buddy! The poo emoji also disappears behind the flower pot in the icon GIF. I am using arkit to detect flat surfaces and occlude the ar objects behind. The app just does that automatically, all you need to do is to scan the wall/floor/table a few seconds. Here is your voucher! RA7X3JFX6HAP

@londonrom Love to try this beauty out an be a loyal user for life π
@abadesi@amrith Hey guys!thanks for asking. I basically re-designed UX, UI, and re-coded pretty much everything from scratch! Long story short, version 1 was rushed in 3 months with zero knowledge with ARKit and SceneKit, this version is 12 month of experience with those frameworks.

Good work, Romain. I built something similar* sometime back, but couldn't continue working on it. Looks like wordup has come a long way since then. Occlusion using flat surfaces is a neat trick!
Good luck!

@siun iβm already working on that! Check my IGTV @ubi.color to get a teaser preview;) itβs a 2D memoji kind of app for iphone X. Could use some help on the illustrations. Here is your voucher to unlock everything 9KHM3P3P7FY3
@abadesi@amrith You can now place text directly on real world surfaces which feels like a more natural AR way to drop 3D objects, there are over 50 3D emojis and objects, I added some physically based rendering textures (brick wall, brushed metal, gold...) There is a new weather widget, new snowfall and bokeh effects. New gestures, you can now rotate objects once they are placed and swipe up to lift them off the ground. New animations for text as well, like turntable spinning, flashing, hovering. I am now taking advantage of ARKit 1.5 's wall detection too, and use that to occlude the virtual object behind the real world flat surfaces (the poo emoji at the end of the promo video, or the "AR" in black that goes behind the tree). I have also improved the shadows to make them more realistic...There is a better onboarding too...and more subtleties under the hood to make the code more efficient overall. The appstore notes on what's new just say "everything".
