Quick update: we now include news about the startups founded by your friends. It's a great way to support them by spreading news about them, and an opportunity to get in touch when something big happens e.g. funding round, etc.

Interesting, love the simplicity. What made you build this, and what's the plan for it? Love the "east coast morning" idea.

Thanks @dshan for the kind words, great question! We (w/ @ocolot) were working on a similar service — WiseRadar — more powerful but less simple to get started with. We realized we could make something a lot simpler and deliver a much better service by relying entirely on your AngelList profile. :) Our goal is to deliver content that is personally valuable to every single person on our service, every day, without any clutter/overload. The morning schedule idea is actually one of the things we kept from WiseRadar. Very habit-forming! :)

Cool. Who's the target audience?

Mostly angels and investors who have a lot of portfolio companies, when Google Alerts don't scale well. As a founder I also use it to stay up to date with competitors ... and friends' companies :)
