Hey ProductHunt community! Today, I’m excited to announce the launch of WhoWasAt. A tool that has been saving me hours every week applying for events. When I first got into the tech scene in New York, I decided to dive head first into the world of events. I was going to as many as I possibly could to network with other founders, meet investors, and honestly sometimes just get some free food. When NYC tech week rolled around it was overwhelming how many events there were. I found a Google Sheet online which had over 200 events happening and spent almost 5 hours just applying to the events! This brought up a big question for me - what if there was a way I could automate this process. Enter WhoWasAt: the app allows you to paste in a google sheet of all the events you are interested in, and automatically apply for them, optimizing for your calendar. This is a perfect tool for any founders, investors, B2B sales leaders or anyone that’s simply interested in networking in tech. I’ve started using its before every conference I attend to spend zero time filling up my calendar and all my time attending events. Check out the tool and feel free to drop any comments, questions or suggestions. Would love to hear what events you are most excited about this summer. Cheers, Maurice
@mauriceiii Huge congrats on your launch! Wishing you a journey filled with success and growth. What are your next steps post-launch?

Perfect for busy networkers. Genius idea, can’t wait to try it!
Just tried out WhoWasAt.events and it's a game-changer! This platform makes event tracking a breeze. The interface is sleek and user-friendly, allowing me to easily explore past events and discover who attended. The search functionality is impressive, making it a breeze to find specific events or individuals.

Big congratulations to the WhoWasAt team on their launch! The concept of streamlining event applications is a game-changer, especially for those of us who juggle multiple conferences. Using WhoWasAt is a breeze. By allowing users to paste a Google Sheet of events and automatically applying, it saves a ton of time and hassle. The process is simple and intuitive, making it an excellent tool for event enthusiasts. However, a suggestion for improvement: integrating a feature that provides real-time updates or notifications on application status could further enhance the user experience. It would be great to know instantly if you've been accepted or if there are any changes to the event details.

I like this! It looks very beneficial for founders and investors since networking and time-scheduling with all the meetings can be so time-consuming and they need to invest time into other more important things. Making this process easier is great! Congrats on the launch!

Hi Maurice, Does it also help manage event reminders and notifications, or is it primarily focused on the application process? Congrats on the launch!
Maurice Landers III
@kyrylosilin With most event platforms, signing up automatically adds it to your calendar, so we are primarily focused on the application process!

Congratulations on the launch! This is quite interesting! Do you use LLMs in order to identify where the subscription form is on the website?
Maurice Landers III
@semanser No we actually don't, we are considering doing so when we expand to other platforms though!
