@sabrina_atienza Thanks for inviting me here and I am glad to see the growth of Whipnote. I have been testing few apps (Eva from Voicera, Going.io, Turbo AI etc) that contain similar features but never see a smooth way of implementation as I see with Whipnote. I hear that they are implementing AI methodology and text-to-speech process I am more curious on this now and looking forward to testing this platform extensively. I am in talks with @Sabrina and I must say that she understands the customer base and look forward to developing few key points. Wish you all the best for the entire team and l would love to test your platform via Integrations for GSuite, Calendar, Gmail, Outlook, CRM Tools, etc

@sabrina @mahendra_rao Thanks so much Mahendra! You bring up a great point that ease-of-use is important, especially for a new product category like this where it's not necessarily intuitive how Whipnote works. For example, we learned from all the feedback yesterday (BTW thank you Product Hunt community!) that we need to do a better job explaining how Whipnote joins your calls, which is a key part in making the overall service experience feel like "magic" vs feel broken.

@sabrina_atienza @mahendra_rao haven't heard of Turbo before, will check them out. For integrations, we've completed google/outlook calendar so far. Email is next - we'd like to send a simple follow up email after each call. By the way which CRM do you use ?

I'm having a heck of a time signing up. When I try to create an account for free trial nothing happens...tried it many times. Eventually I just went back to the home page and I was logged in. Then when I tried to connect my google cal I gave it permission and when it returned to your site nothing happens. I even tried to skip that step and that doesn't work :(

@nivasravi Hey Nivas, great question! We overlap since we both work with conference calls, but their platform doesn't work with direct calls (e.g. I call your cell phone). In terms of technology, our speech engine is real-time (academically known as "Online"). Imagine TV live captioning, now for conference calls. From my understanding, and please correct me if I'm mistaken, Gong's engine is after-the-fact (academically known as "Offline") so you'll need to wait to get the full transcript. Because of these differences, we naturally focus on different use cases. For example, Whipnote doesn't offer call recording, so if you wanted a call library, I recommend something like Gong or any other call recording app. Whipnote is focused on giving you the most actionable information and details from your calls as quickly as possible (zero wait time), so you can get on with your day 👉 i.e. your NEXT meeting! 🙂

@nivasravi Nivas - adding to @sabrina_atienza thread, it looks like Gong is heavily focused on sales training and enablement as a core use case. You can use Whipnote for sales conversations as well as many other types of conversations: market research, user interviews, recruiting interviews, lawyer calls, investor calls, internal team meetings, brainstorming sessions, etc. Would love to get your feedback on our features so far since this is our V1 launch, thanks!
