I didn't realize how spread out my friends are. I can't believe Facebook hasn't done something like this already; it's really cool to spatially map out your friends.
I just signed up and realized a friend of mine is visiting the UK. It might be interesting to more easily identify friends that are traveling/not at home, @eli_white.
And if you want to avoid your friends, check out Cloak. :)
Hey everyone! I built WhereTheyAt to help me find the friends I know in places that I don’t. It uses information they have shared with you on Facebook to give you a map. I’m here to answer any questions you have!
Once you’ve taken a look around, post the craziest place you discovered one of your friends and join in the conversation!

Great idea ! I travel quite a bit, and always ends up looking up "My friends who live in XXX" with FB's graph search. But the info I find there is often outdated.
I wish some app would gather my friend's most recent data from Swarm, Instagram, Facebook and others, and notify me of who's around when I arrive in a new city.
@theoblochet I totally agree. My first version integrated Swarm as well but not enough people seemed to use it for it to be worth the added complexity.

@eli_white Yeah, barely anyone uses it here, apart from techies. Too bad. Keep up the great work Eli !
@blakesamic Yep, it will. I like to see this as proof they shouldn't remove some features that make Facebook's API so useful. :-) Or at least add some good stuff into Facebook.com. Might as well take advantage of it until April 30th! haha
