I very much dislike WhatsApp. Especially compared to Telegram. It's has not been innovative in any way since 2014. All of their new features are basically copy-cat from other services, and even when implemented, they don't work very good. The desktop client is an extremely slow Electron app. And the worst thing is that I have to backup WhatsApp manually to my own cloud service which is pretty stupid.

I'm not a phone caller person so I'm writing when I want to reach someone. That's way I'm using whatsapp most.
Using it for non-business connecting, for friends and family mostly, works well!
