cc'ing founder @artemgassan -- why / how did you start whale path? what's the ultimate vision for it?
Noticed that some of the reports cite IBIS World, Gartner, and other databases that are very expensive yet accessible to business students (who seem to write many of the reports) for free.
Great strategy, but a little shady?
Pretty cool, but your logo looks like an angry/evil person at a glance. (whale tail = eyebrows furrowed)

@eriktorenberg Our vision is to make Market Research and Competitive Intelligence available to more people by providing on-demand & affordable research
Report
@GeoffreyWeg We mainly use data from IBIS, Gartner that are publicly available, and we cite the source where it comes from. We also buy subscriptions from certain data sources ourselves. Students have signed agreement with us regarding not using the school resources for Whale Path research.
Report
@ShaanVP as a research company, we did our research on the logos as well. We surveyed over 1600 people about over a dozen designs online and this is the one that is constantly chosen by customers
