Thanks for hunting WebSlides, @nathlays :) Hi hunters, I'm the author of WebSlides and I'm happy to answer any questions you might have. WebSlides is free and open source. I built it because we need a platform for beautiful storytelling: - Medium = Beautiful articles. - Typeform = Beautiful forms. - WebSlides = Beautiful presentations and longforms. Designing in WebSlides can be just as fast as with Powerpoint. Just a basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is all you need to make some really beautiful slides. Why WebSlides? Good karma and productivity. - WebSlides is about telling the story, and sharing it in a beautiful way. @mninthara Obvious monetization = a website to create, post, and share webslides decks. For non-techies, that would be necessary to even get started. Who wants to fool with files? That's the attraction with slides.com, but webslides looks better, I think.

@stoweboyd @mninthara WebSlides is a side project. Monetization? Right now I'm focused on building a world-class product.

@thibpat Hi Thibaut. Thanks for your question. Slides.com is an excellent tool. WebSlides is a solution for making presentations, landings, portfolios, and long-forms. It is also a starting point for building custom CSS frameworks.
