Hi Product Hunt! I'm Emre — and I'm back.
Some of you may remember Grou.ps, the DIY social network I launched back in 2008. It grew into a large platform where 350,000 communities built their own social networks with 12 million registered members, and it taught me everything I know about shipping consumer products at scale. The company was sold to a public telecom company.
A few years later I shipped GraphJS, also launched on Product Hunt. GraphJS was a real-time graph database for the browser — and within about a year it was acquired by our first enterprise customer's company.
Now I'm building WebBrain.
I got frustrated that the best AI browser agents — Claude's plugin, ChatGPT's agent mode — are locked behind paid subscriptions and closed source. So I built WebBrain: a free, open-source AI browser agent that lives in your own browser, works with any LLM (Claude, OpenAI, OpenRouter, or local llama.cpp), and runs on Chrome, Firefox, and Edge.
