They prefer keeping things on their own computer for more privacy and control. I built the app because I personally wanted more control and a better UX than just using a spreadsheet. @dshan The app is built using Tauri. Should works for Intel-based Mac. And also in windows and linux. I haven’t done the testing though. I will add the pipeline to generate the other distrib files.

When I read local first, the first thing that came to my mind was local market, not local data storage :) Great stuff. i wish I could try it. Does it work under Linux?

@bogomep The app is built using Tauri. It should also work on Linux and Windows. I haven’t done the testing though. It’s open source; I’ll wait a bit for the community to do the same Linux testing.

@a_fadil I think a demo video or "getting started" docs would be helpful! I see "Robinhood Invest" and "Coinbase Crypto" in the screenshots. What's the process for connecting sources? Is there a list of supported sources? Thanks!

@neil_shankar Yeah, I should add a getting started doc. The app has an onboarding page that shows the steps. For now only csv import is supported. No direct connexion the sources.
