What do you think? …

Abhilash Kumar
Hi! I'm AB- the creator of WDYT. And I can't wait to hear from you on what you think of this quirky social app. The idea hit me one evening when I found myself texting half my group chats, trying to pick between two random things which outfit looked better on me for a wedding I was attending. I realized how often we get stuck on simple choices. I wanted a place that felt both fun and sincere, somewhere you could instantly poll not just your tight-knit crew but the entire world, and hear what everyone really thinks (sans bias). That spark grew into WDYT, a two-choice polling app designed to ease indecision and spark real conversations. Here’s what we’ve cooked up so far: • Instant Two-Option Polls: Ask anything, from “Which movie tonight?” to “Shaq or Kobe for GOAT?” and watch real-time votes flow in. • Get creative with your poll buttons: To add a bit of fun, I let users add only emojis as their polling button. • Live Comments & Discussions: It needed to be more than just picking sides. Voters can share why they chose that option, leading to surprisingly lively debates. • Fun Badges & Feedback: Of course, you needed something in return. Earn badges for posting, voting, or stirring up a debate. It’s a small nod to keep things engaging and playful. • Global Input, Small-Community Feel: I wanted it big enough that you can get fresh perspectives from around the planet, but tight enough that you still feel heard. I built WDYT because I was tired of mindless scrolling on social feeds that never solved my everyday dilemmas. It’s been a roller coaster of late-night coding, gathering feedback, and pivoting when our beta testers offered ideas we never dreamed of. Now that it’s live, I’m honestly thrilled to see the polls you all create, the opinions you share, and how you’ll shape this community. Thank you for giving WDYT a look. If you’ve ever felt that little jolt of stress picking the “right” choice, I hope this helps you let go and have fun in the process. Let me know what you think, and feel free to share your wildest two-option question. I can’t wait to vote on it!
