wämmer is the privacy-friendly scheduling poll from Switzerland. Participants vote without logging in (just a link), and you see the best time in real time. No ads, no cookie banners, no trackers; hosted in the EU, GDPR- and revDSG-compliant. Free with unlimited participants. The Pro version includes custom branding, automatic reminders, ics calendar invitations, and a deadline.

Hi everyone 👋 I'm Timo, a developer from Switzerland.
Doodle used to be simple, but now it's full of ads, cookie banners, tracking, and it requires participants to create accounts. That's too much for a simple question (“When should we meet?”). So I built wämmer.
• Create a poll in 30 seconds, share the link
• Participants vote without logging in (Yes / Maybe / No)
• You see the best time in real time
• No ads, no trackers, no cookie banners — hosted in the EU, GDPR/revDSG-compliant
• Free with unlimited participants; Pro (optional) for branding, reminders, .ics invitations, and deadlines
Privacy isn’t just a feature here—it’s the whole point.
Feedback? I’m here all day. See you later.
Been using Wämmer for our small team's meetups and the no-login voting is a lifesaver. One thing that would help a lot: add timezone auto-detection so participants from different countries don't have to manually convert. That would make coordinating across borders much smoother.
@cemre46338 Thanks! the no-login flow is the whole reason wämmer exists, so it's good to hear it's earning its keep with your team.
Timezone auto-detection is a fair gap. It isn't in there yet, but it's exactly the kind of friction the tool is supposed to kill, so it's going on the list :) Appreciate you pointing at exactly where it hurts.
The no-login-vote flow is a really thoughtful touch, especially for groups where half the people would abandon a poll before creating an account. Clean execution all around.
@emre9gjz Thank you! that's the itch it scratches. The account wall is where most polls quietly die, so killing it wasn't optional. Glad the execution landed.
honestly the fact that participants just vote through a link with zero sign-in is such a smooth touch, really removes all that usual friction. love that it's hosted in the EU too.
@abdulsametykzn Thanks! zero sign-in is the hill wämmer is built on!
And yeah, EU-hosted on purpose (Convex, Ireland), revDSG/DSGVO-native. No US cloud, no ad trackers, no cookie banner. Privacy isn't a feature bullet here, it's the reason the thing exists. Glad it clicked.
