Sorry Savio, I usually like your stuff but monetizing on a bunch of free extensions on the sole purpose that you "researched it" is a bit no-no for me.
@mallowigi I was using a lot of VS Code extensions daily and people who likes my apps often messages me like can you recommend an extension for productivity, how can you complete an app in 2 week, your favourite VS Code extensions like that. I thought to I create a notion file with the best one I have used also messaged my friends and some others, to get their best ones too. And finally, I merged everything and created it. I thought it can help a lot of people, also I think the price is low only $1. I don't think it is a problem. I'm very sorry, you thought in that way!

@saviomartin the price is not the point. Even if it were 5c it's just that having to pay to get a list of recommendations is pretty shady, even if the intentions are genuine. This reminds me the scenes in movies when someone asks something and has to give a banknote to obtain information. Either you want to help or you don't.
I would have understand if you had made such an extension, it would make much more sense. Or you could have asked for donations as a giveback of your research. But plainly requesting payment is unwilling.
Besides what if it actually doesn't help? What if I already know all these extensions ? I would have paid for nothing, like a loot box.
I'll say it again, I'm not stingy, I just find the practice questionable.

The fact you even put a price tag on this when you have already posted it publicly for free is just poor taste in my opinion. This is not the way.
