Hi Product Hunt, Desk microphones are a compromise. They sit half a metre away, they pick up the room, and you spend the time you saved fixing what they misheard. Your phone is already the better microphone: it is at your mouth, so the audio is cleaner and the text comes out right the first time. A whisper is enough, which matters in a shared office. The other thing I did not want was one more account and one more cloud, so it stays on your own network. I built it because I dictate long prompts all day, and typing them was the slow part. I have been using it myself every day for the past six months.
